Introduction

I have have just returned from my annual mecca to Women's Conference at BYU.  This tradition began for me about 10 years ago as I can best recall. I have attended with my sisters, sister-in-law, mother, and friends.  This amazing conference is held on the BYU campus in Provo, Utah during the first Thursday and Friday of May.  Thousands of women gather from around the globe to learn, to serve, to rejuvenate, to shop, to sing, to eat and to celebrate women, families, and Jesus Christ. It is an experience like no other. There is strength and power in women gathered for a united purpose.

This year as I attended, I kept feeling a nudge and a stirring that I couldn't just walk away at the end of this experience and forget. I need to continue my journey. One particular time as I was racing across campus to catch my next class, I started writing this funny blog post in my mind. I know I was smiling as I hurried to the Wilkinson Center. It went something like....."before attending Women's Conference, be sure to start your speed-walking conditioning early....always sit close to an exit....and be sure to eat something between every class." I may have laughed out loud at the thought. But the thought never left. I knew that I needed to come home and start another blog dedicated to all that I had learned and experienced.

Coincidentally, the theme of this year's conference was taken from D&C 100:12---"Therefore, continue your journey and let your heart rejoice; for behold, and lo, I am with you even unto the end."
So that is what I will do....continue the journey of Women's Conference and rejoice!
